The beginnings of our company date back to 2013. As with many other companies, ours also began as an after-hours project. The idea for the product was born during the implementation of an intranet-based electronic holiday request system at one of the companies. After some analysis of the market, it turned out that it lacked an Internet-based holiday management application.
The solution we created was initially called Urlopek (‘little holiday’ in Polish), and – as the name suggests – it was intended for submitting electronic leave requests. However, it soon became apparent that companies needed other features, such as business trip settlements. The following years of cooperation and conversations with our clients inspired us to develop a third module of our service: Work Schedule.
The year 2019 turned out to be a breakthrough for us: we rebranded our product and moved our headquarters to a modern office in the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia, Poland. Currently, HRnest has over 450 clients with 30,000 issued business trip settlements and almost 700,000 submitted holiday requests. 2019 also brought us a continuous improvement and development of our application – and we added yet another module to our product: Electronic Employee Files.
The first version of the application is launched.

Our company hits 100th client milestone.

A 10,000th business trip order is issued.
A 300,000th holiday request is issued. Our company hits 300th client milestone.

Urlopek is rebranded to HRnest.
A 400,000th holiday request and a 20,000th business trip order is issued.
Our company hits 400th client milestone.
A 500,000th holiday request is issued.
HRnest is nominated to the PPNT LIDER 2019 prize in the product-service category.
A 600,000th holiday request and a 30,000th business trip order is issued.
HRnest celebrates 7th birthday.
